A few months ago, we published a guide to six quick and easy steps for writing a stellar speaker bio. From things you should include to mistakes you should avoid, these six steps were focused on providing speakers with actionable and straightforward advice, making the process of writing your bio a little easier. However, while we went through plenty of “to-do”s, we didn’t cover many examples for you to reference as you write your bio. In light of that, in this guide, we’re going to highlight the SpeakerFlow team’s top ten speaker bios. Faith's Road is a Christian Rock band from Worcester, MA on a mission to encourage people through music. While playing in a church worship band, Chris Jensen (vocals/guitar) and David Beall (guitar) recognized that they had a musical connection and a desire to write original material. Inspired by artists like Kutless and Sidewalk Prophets they set out in 2017 to form Faith's Road and after a few line up changes recruited their friends Phil Anderson (bass) and Tony Larson (drums) to join them.
Faith's Road has been steadily playing shows around New England since 2017 and has performed with artists such as 7eventh Time Down and Boiling Point. They continue to play at local churches, festivals, and coffee houses but have a passion for outreach ministry and prioritize those shows. The band's music connects very well with secular audiences, especially the 30 to 50 year old demographic, and those struggling with addiction.
Faith's Road has released 9 singles on all the streaming platforms to date, with plans to release more in the near future. While mostly rock, the band often crosses genres with ventures into metal, pop punk, worship, and even reggae.
The road has not been easy for the band, and since its start in 2017 has been quite the test of faith. Two core members have passed away, drummer Gary Capazutto and roadie Mark Slauenwhite, and lineup changes have meant starting over several times. Nevertheless, the hope that their music can encourage the hurting around them strengthens the band to push forward when the road gets hard.

Christian pop rock band Newsboys (sometimes stylised as newsboys) are a Christian rock band founded in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, by Peter Furler and George Perdikis. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. As of 2025, the band consists of bassist and vocalist Adam Agee (formerly of Stellar Kart and Audio Adrenaline), electric guitarist Jody Davis, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, and drummer Duncan Phillips; no founding members are featured in the lineup. In addition to performing music, the band has appeared in the films God's Not Dead, God's Not Dead 2, and God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness. The band was formed in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia in 1985 by two young men: Peter Furler and his school mate George Perdikis. Furler and Perdikis practiced in a garage on the Sunshine Coast, well known for being a "surfer's paradise". Two other teens were added soon after: Furler's best friend, John James, and bassist Sean Taylor. Newsboys came to the United States in late 1987 after getting signed with Refuge Communications and released the album Read All About It in 1988 in the United States. The best songs are those that are heard when we need them most—the ones that become lifelines of truth in the midst of uncertainty. Enter “Just Say Jesus,” the powerful title track and lead single from 7eventh Time Down’s sophomore album.
A little boy hears the song after losing a friend in a biking accident and asks his mom if it was written about the tragedy. A mother and father mourn the one-year anniversary of the death of their daughters, and the song helps them through the tear-filled day. A grown man who lost his father is comforted by the song in the wake of childhood memories.
One song, three very different scenarios.
“It’s way bigger than we are as a band. It’s way bigger than we could’ve hoped for because God’s using it,” offers lead singer Mikey Howard of the single’s resonance. The constant stream of stories from fans remind all four band members—Howard (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Cliff Williams (bass), Eric Van Zant (lead guitar) and Austin Miller (drums)—of the power of a song to impact lives. For the Kentucky-bred foursome who grew up playing music together, it’s a privilege to get to steward this song, as well as the others on their new release.
