Rose rollins biography
Rose Rollins was raised in Yonkers, New York, growing up with five brothers. She is an accomplished actress who has garnered attention on both the big and small screens.
Rollins now stars in ABC's The Catch opposite Mireille Enos. The series centers on a gutsy female forensic accountant who exposes fraud for a living and has finally found fulfillment both at work and in love until a case comes along that threatens to turn her world upside down. The Catch is produced by Shonda Rhimes.
Prior to The Catch, Rollins most recently guest starred in an eight-episode arc on Amazon Studios crime drama Bosch and starred in the TNT pilot Guilt By Association.
Rollins has built her body of work with numerous roles on prominent television series including the critically acclaimed Showtime series The L Word, the Jerry Bruckheimer produced NBC drama Chase, NBC's The West Wing co-starring Allison Janney , Southland, ABC's In Justice opposite Kyle MacLachlan, The CW's Nikita and CBS's NCIS and CSI: NY, among many others.
On the big screen, the actress' voice can be heard as the White House press secretary in the 2015 Adam Sandler/Kevin James action sci-fi comedy Pixels. Additional film credits include Mission: Impossible III directed by J.J. Abrams, Undisputed opposite Ving Rhames and Wesley Snipes, the romantic comedy Something New and 13 Moons starring Steve Buscemi, Jennifer Beals, and Peter Dinklage.

Rose Rollins (born April 30, 1981) is an American actress. She is known for her role as Tasha Williams in the Showtime drama series, The L Word (2007–09) and as Valerie Anderson in the ABC crime drama series, The Catch (2016–17).
Early life
Rollins was born in Berkeley, California. She moved to New York when she worked as model, appearing on numerous commercials and major advertising campaigns. She later moved to Los Angeles, and made her acting debut appearing as C. J. Cregg's assistant in two episodes of NBC drama series, The West Wing in 1999.
Career
In early 2000s, Rollins has had supporting roles in films 13 Moons (2002) opposite Jennifer Beals, Undisputed (2002) starring Wesley Snipes, and Something New (2006) starring Sanaa Lathan. She also appeared in Mission: Impossible III in 2006. On television, she had the recurring role in the short-lived ABC legal drama In Justice in 2006.
In 2007, Rollins joined the cast of the Showtime drama series The L Word during the fourth season as Tasha Williams. She starred on the show through the finale in 2009. She also played Monique on the web series Girltrash! in 2007, which was directed by Angela Robinson. She later has appeared on CSI: NY and Miami Medical, before a regular role opposite Kelli Giddish in the short-lived NBC police drama series, Chase produced by Jerry Bruckheimer during 2010–11 season. In 2014, Rollins played the leading role alongside Julia Stiles in the TNT legal drama pilot Guilt by Association.

Rose Rollins was born in Berkeley, California and raised in Yonkers, New York. She grew up with five brothers and considers herself a tomboy at heart. Rose was discovered by a photographer in her teens and immediately began landing modeling assignments. However, she ultimately opted to challenge herself even further by relocating to Los Angeles to study acting.
Since then, Rose has recurred in numerous television series, including The West Wing opposite Allison Janney and In Justice opposite Kyle MacLachlan. She has also guest starred in several series such as "Dr. Vegas" with Rob Lowe.
Rose made her feature debut in 13 Moons starring Steve Buscemi and Jennifer Beals, directed by the Sundance Jury winning director Alexandre Rockwell. She immediately followed this debut with a role in Undisputed opposite Ving Rhames and Wesley Snipes. She appeared in Mission: Impossible III, directed by J.J. Abrahms as well as the romantic comedy Something New starring Sanaa Lathan and Simon Baker, directed by Sanaa Hamri.
From 2007 to 2009, she played Tasha Williams on Showtime's The L Word and Daisy Ogbaa on Chase from 2010-2011.
In addition to her work on screen, she enjoys traveling, studying a second language, hiking, boxing, cooking and spending time with her close friends.
